ABOUT
I have over 30 years of experience as a professional pianist and an extensive repertoire of classical, jazz, standards, musicals, rock & pop. After a 21 year run as a full-time musician in Los Angeles, I recently relocated to Saint Johns, Florida! I’m now happily serving the First Coast in Northeast Florida including Jacksonville, St Johns, St Augustine, Ponte Vedra, Amelia Island and more! I can be found performing at various venues throughout the area – check out my show schedule for my current public performances. I also play piano for all kinds of events including corporate events, weddings, birthdays, charity galas & holiday parties.
During my two decades as a full-time working musician in Los Angeles, I maintained long term residencies at luxury hotels, restaurants and shopping malls. Most recently, I was a resident pianist in the iconic bar at Hotel Bel-Air for 6 years. During the 15 months that in-person events were not happening in CA, I kept busy doing live stream concerts and performing live for virtual events multiple times per week.

A recent quote from Jacob Collier straight from his recent Asia 2023 Tour. Ever since I saw him live in Los Angeles at the Fonda Theater in 2019, I've known that this "kid" is the most genius, talented musician/performer of our generation! (Even music legends like Herbie Hancock and Quincy Jones gawk over him) I highly recommend going down the rabbit hole of this musical prodigy! search: "Jacob Collier: In the Room Where it Happens" #mondaymotivation Jeremy Weinglass Music

#FBF This was one of my all-time favorite holiday parties I played back in 2019 with my Weinglass Trio. Here's a few things that made this event stand out for both us musicians and the guests: 𝗧𝗵𝗲𝗺𝗲: This party was during the holiday season 2019, when Frozen 2 was in theaters and they went full out with the Frozen theme. So to compliment the decor, photobooth and all the other elements, we made sure to play songs from the movie. 𝗦𝘁𝗮𝗴𝗲: We had a stage to perform on which gave us a great ability to command attention of the room. This was fantastic not only for us as the musicians, but also provided a focal point for the host to address the guests at various points throughout the evening. In addition, there was other entertainment, including a magician, which made use of the stage during our breaks. 𝗚𝘂𝗲𝘀𝘁 𝗘𝗻𝗴𝗮𝗴𝗲𝗺𝗲𝗻𝘁: We engaged the guests to participate in karaoke style singing with our band which is tons of fun! An easy way to do this without a bunch of extra equipment is have people look up lyrics to the song they are singing on their phone. And, of course, the stage also helped us facilitate this, making it easier to call attention to what we were doing and provide a space for the singers to perform. Is there a holiday party that you've been to that really stuck out? Tell us about it in the comments! As a pro musician, I’m sometimes booked for gigs with musicians I've never met before. The job demands being ready with any special music requests, often requiring on-the-spot collaboration with little time to rehearse. Hence, preparation is the key to success! Recently, a bride hired me to play for her wedding ceremony alongside a violinist and cellist from @_stringtheorymusic_. The couple had several unique song requests along with some custom arrangements. On the big day, I arrived prepared with all the music as usual. But there were additional steps taken by me and the others that ensured a smooth collaboration. Arriving Early: @hyattjaxx was a new venue for me, and meeting the other musicians for the first time added another layer of unfamiliarity. I aimed to arrive 30 minutes before my call time, which turned out to be necessary. After parking and loading my gear onto my cart, I discovered there were no elevators from the parking garage to the hotel lobby or to the rooftop location of the ceremony. So, I had to carry all my gear up 2 flights of stairs, taking extra time, effort (and sweat to clean up!) Thankfully, my early arrival allowed me to manage this challenge and I was on time for set up. Building Connections: I greeted and connected with the other musicians as if we were friends meeting up for coffee. Despite time constraints, we had 15 minutes to chat a bit before setting up. In that short time, sharing stories about music and family created a sense of camaraderie. Being Helpful and Accommodating: I credit the owner of String Theory, who joined us for the day, offering assistance with gear, making sure we had water, taking photos and videos and helping with communication logistics. Finally we were set up and began playing our first song during the prelude. As guests arrived, the level of harmony we achieved was exceptional, even beyond our technical abilities. Our communication, intuitive reading of each other, and continuous smiles created an enjoyable experience and it felt like we had been playing together for years. I genuinely relish meeting and playing with new musicians, as I continue expanding my musical connections in NE FL! 🎶

I had the honor of leading these men yesterday in one of our F3 early morning workouts at Veterans Park! (That's me in the back right.) @f3nation_official is a national network of free, peer-led workouts for men. Our mission is to plant, grow and serve small workout groups for men for the invigoration of male community leadership. The 3 F's stand for: Fitness, Fellowship & Faith. Being involved in this fine organization over the past 6 months or so, while participating in challenging early morning workouts (rain or shine) with these men, has given me a deeper appreciation of the virtues of leadership, accountability and purpose. The foundation of F3 is based on values that are taught and practiced in the military. Sayings like: "Leave no man behind, but leave no man where you found him," or "Pass the praise; take the blame" really have meaning. Leadership virtues like: Candor, Courage, Commitment, Consistency, and Contentment that as men we can all apply in our personal lives and our communities. Having not served in the military myself, being in F3 has provided a framework for understanding these values that are taught in the military. I wonder how much different our country would be if our political leaders honored the values of accountability, trust, and integrity in their service to the American people? Today, on Veterans Day, I honor all who have served and continue to serve in our country's military. 🙏 ***I will be performing at Jacksonville International Airport 𝘾𝙖𝙩𝙘𝙝 𝙢𝙮 𝙇𝙄𝙑𝙀 𝙎𝙏𝙍𝙀𝘼𝙈 𝙤𝙣 𝙁𝙖𝙘𝙚𝙗𝙤𝙤𝙠 𝙖𝙩 1𝙥𝙢 𝙀𝙎𝙏.
