We have hired Jeremy ten years in a row now for a very large (entertainment) Christmas party I help to produce. With 200 people plus, Jeremy fields requests and really he is the heart beat of the party. People sing at the top of their lungs, while he plays pretty much any song you can think of. Jeremy has a microphone set up that we love, it's discreet but very powerful, it's not tacky is what I mean. I always have people asking me for his information days after the event so that they can hire him for their events. He couldn't be nicer, his wife Kim couldn't be nicer to book through too. They hooked us up with the piano rental company and tuner as well where we got a great deal. Normal, very cool, super professional, no stress, big smiles, powerful artist, beyond good, through and through. 5 stars x 10!
Frequently Asked Questions
When should I book for a holiday party?
Holiday season books quickly, especially for weekend dates. Inquiries generally start coming in soon after Labor Day, sometimes sooner! We recommend reaching out as soon as you have a date set so we can get you confirmed on our calendar. But, it’s worth inquiring anytime as Jeremy often has openings in his schedule on short notice.
We have a piano at our venue, what should I know?
Make sure the piano is in tune. If the piano is in a home, we recommend having it tuned within a few days of your event. If it’s at an event venue, inquire with the venue about the piano tuning schedule. You’ll want to ensure that it has been tuned within a month of your event. We can provide a referral for a piano tuner if needed.
What if our venue doesn't have a piano?
We provide a professional-grade digital piano and sound system. Options can also include a piano shell for a more polished look. We can also arrange for piano rental and delivery if you prefer an acoustic baby grand piano for your event.
Do you only play holiday music, or can you mix in other selections?
Jeremy is completely flexible! Many clients prefer a blend, especially for performances of 2 hours or more. We'll discuss the right balance for the atmosphere you’d like to create at your event. We’ll also want to know if kids will be present and if so, we can incorporate favorite children’s tunes so that there is something for everyone.
Where should we place the piano or keyboard?
People always congregate where the food and drinks are. Our recommendation is to place the music where the action is. If space doesn’t allow for the food, drink and music to be in the same space, then we recommend you split up the food and drink and put the musicians in the room with the bar.
Do you travel for holiday events?
Yes! We’re based in Northeast Florida and regularly perform throughout Jacksonville, St. Augustine, Ponte Vedra, and Amelia Island. Jeremy is available for longer distance travel, with sufficient notice. Since the holiday season is our busiest time of year, the further the distance for travel, the sooner the better to book so that travel arrangements can be made.
Can guests make song requests?
Of course! I love taking requests and read the room to keep the energy going throughout the evening. We can incorporate guest requests through our digital app for even more active engagement. We can also provide song lyrics for Christmas favorites if people would like to sing along.
