I have over 30 years of experience as a professional pianist and an extensive repertoire of classical, jazz, standards, musicals, rock & pop. After a 21 year run as a full-time musician in Los Angeles, I moved to Saint Johns, Florida in the summer of 2022! I’m now happily serving the First Coast in Northeast Florida including Jacksonville, St Johns, St Augustine, Ponte Vedra, Amelia Island and more! I can be found performing at various venues throughout the area – check out my show schedule for my current public performances. I also play piano for all kinds of events including corporate events, weddings, birthdays, charity galas & holiday parties.
During my two decades as a full-time working musician in Los Angeles, I maintained long term residencies at luxury hotels, restaurants and shopping malls. Most recently, I was a resident pianist in the iconic bar at Hotel Bel-Air for 6 years.

In March I played two different weddings at The Fountain of Youth in Saint Augustine, Florida. The first one, booked with @jaxstrings, I got to play with a great violinist. Weddings often have curveballs involved and a particular challenge we faced that day was that the venue's main power outlet was broken. Between the DJ providing sound and myself, we had to string together over 150 feet of extension cords in order to make it to the closest outlet so I could plug in my keyboard. And as a result of that limitation, we wound up playing in the back of the ceremony instead of the front corner. It ultimately worked out fine, however it was a lesson in preparing for future events. I mean, I always carry an extension cord with me, but needing 150 feet is definitely unusual. Two weeks later I was booked for another wedding at the exact same location through @coscelebrations and was teamed up with @dj_marcbourgeois. Since I had just been there, I alerted the team to the power issue so we could be better prepared. @dj_coreyp took the initiative to lend us his awesome new battery, the BLUETTI AC180. I can't rave enough about this gear. It was easy to use and when it's fully charged, it lasts for over 100 hours (depending on how much you need to plug in). Two hours after using it for my Nord Grand keyboard, the battery still read that it had 99 hours left! Marc did some research and alerted me to the fact that it was on sale for a great price, so we just bought one ourselves and I couldn't be more pleased. Now I can literally play anywhere; including remote locations like the beach or woods! Also it will be great to have for camping trips and during hurricane season in case we lose power! 👊

Sometimes when I'm booked to play a wedding by another company, I'm collaborating with other musicians(s) that I may be meeting for the first time. So once we are all set up, we'll aim to have a soundcheck and if possible a quick run through of the most important songs for the ceremony. The stress level can often be high in these moments depending on any snags that arise during setup. But as professionals, we are used to getting curveballs thrown our way and do our best to handle them with a positive attitude. This is when our skills honed as musicians can be a great asset . Communication, multitasking, improvising, patience, audio and spatial awareness, creativity, quick decision making, and of course, dropping your ego completely. These are not just music skills; they are life skills. When the officiant says, "Please rise" for the bride, we are ready to bring some magic and joy to the most cherished moment of the couple's lives thus far. (No pressure!) Cue: "Canon in D" (but of course!) Pictured: a recent wedding at @foyflorida in Saint Augustine. Booked by @jaxstrings and paired with Brian Griffin on violin, who I just met that day! #weddingwednesday

My longest standing regular gig since I’ve been living in Florida for two and a half years now, has been at @pontevedrainnclub a couple Fridays every month in the Great Lounge. It's been an honor to build a loyal following among members, hotel guests, and staff. 🙌 And now some exciting news: they’ve officially extended my hours! So on the Fridays when I’m scheduled, I will be playing from 3-6pm in the Great Lounge, followed by 6:30-9pm in the Golf Club Dinning Room. This new schedule came together recently and I’ve done it once so far; it was a pleasure to serenade dinner guests into the evening. Some folks even followed me from the Lounge to make dinner reservations on the spot when they heard the good news! 🎉 Catch me tomorrow in the Great Lounge, or the Golf Club Dining Room - or both! I post my schedule regularly on Instagram, but you can also check my website to see my upcoming performance dates. (link in bio) Hope to see you soon!

@kimweinglass and I recently participated in a fantastic networking event with @staugweddingassoc hosted by @riverhouseevents. So many vendors contributed their talents to make it an especially fun and elegant evening! I had the privilege to provide piano music for the first hour and collaborate with @bsweetentertainment to create captivating performances with aerial dancers. Later we all got to let loose on the dance floor with tunes provided by @beachside904. Thanks to all for making it a night to remember and to @lifeandlovestudio for capturing the memories so beautifully!
